2008 Craig Thomas Poker Run Saturday, August 9, 2008 Council Bluff's , IA   The event name is the 2008 Craig Thomas Poker Run to benefit ALS in the Heartland. ALS stands for Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, also known as ALS or Lou Gehrig's Disease. The event is a Poker Fun Run. The date of the event is Saturday, August 9, 2008. It will begin and end at Quaker Steak and Lube in Council Bluff's IA. Registration begins at 10:00 the the run begins at noon. The route will be through Western Iowa. We have not done the event in a few years, so we are unsure how many riders we will have. We are hoping for 150 - 200. The cost is $15/person or $25/couple.
