2ND Annual Grand Valley Rally August 22 - August 24, 2008 Delta , CO   Welcome to the Colorado Rocky Mountains. The Grand Valley Rally is an event that shouldn't be missed!!! This is a rally where you can really RIDE!! Unbelievable scenery and low traffic volume combine to make one of the best areas in the Country to enjoy riding . While here visit the Grand Mesa, The World's largest flat top mountain with over 300 lakes, or Gateway Canyons , a car museum and luxury Hotel complete with golf course makes this a great place to visit. Aspen, Vail, Telluride, Ouray, Silverton, Creste Butte, Lake City, Glenwood Springs, are just some of the towns that are an easy day ride that should be seen. We have maps available for some of the most pleasurable riding ever. There is something to see in any direction you go. Pick a different direction everyday. It never hurts to show up early. There are too many places and things to see in three days. The Grand Valley offers a wide variety of accommodations. From camping in our many State Parks, to luxury Natural Hot Spring Hotels. On site accommodations during the rally will include 80 full service RV hook-ups , in-tent camping , with on site facilities including showers. There is some additional RV parking available. Let the games begin, Barrel Racing, Wienie Bite, Plank Ride, Slow Races, Keg Push, and more! When the arenas not rumbling with bikes, the stage will be rocking with Great Bands. Also on stage don't miss the MISS GVR BIKINI CONTEST, Tattoo Contests, or Hot Buns Competition.
